A Muslim man suspected of stealing a bike was tied to a pole, made to chant “Jai Shri Ram” and brutally beaten for hours by a mob in Jharkhand’s Seraikela Kharsawan district last week. The man, Tabrez Ansari, 22, died of his injuries later.
